About Speecher.org

Speecher.org is a free online English text-to-speech tool built for people who want to hear how English actually sounds. No signup, no paywall, no app to install — just open the site, paste your text, and press Speak.

Why we built it

Most TTS services are aimed at long-form reading and hide the interesting bits — IPA transcription, accent comparison, and the ability to slow a word down to its individual sounds — behind accounts and subscriptions. We wanted a tool that treats pronunciation learning as a first-class use case.
