Use of the service

Speecher.org is provided free of charge for personal and educational use. You may use the generated audio (including MP3 downloads) for learning, teaching, podcasting, video narration, or any similar purpose, subject to the terms of the underlying voice providers (Google, Amazon, your browser vendor). You are responsible for making sure your use complies with their licences.

Acceptable use

Don't use Speecher.org to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Impersonate another person or organization.
• Run automated scraping or load-testing that interferes with other users. We reserve the right to rate-limit or block abusive clients.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or rebrand the service as your own.

No warranty

Speecher.org is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Voices, accents, IPA data, and dictionary lookups come from third-party sources and may be unavailable, inaccurate, or change at any time. Don't rely on Speecher.org as the sole source of truth for anything mission-critical (legal pronunciations, medical terminology, and so on).

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speecher.org and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date below. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
