Miss Reed teaches music at West Hill School. Today she brings a small drum and two flutes to class. The students sit in a circle on the floor. First they clap their hands together ten times. Next they sing a short song about rain.

Miss Reed gives the drum to Peter. He hits it four times slowly. Anna gets one flute. She plays three high notes. Then Ben plays the other flute. He makes two low sounds. The class listens quietly.

After that everyone stands up. They march around the room and sing the song again. Miss Reed smiles at the end. She says the students did very well today. The bell rings at half past eleven. The children put the instruments away and leave the room.
