何かが同じ種類の中でいちばん大きい、いちばんよい、いちばん悪いと言うことができる。
表示されているコア時間。2つのコアブロックに時間表示がないため、実際のレッスンは合計より長くなります。
文法
4分最上級は比較級と同じように作りますが、the を付けます。

例外も同じ4つです： good → the best, bad → the worst, far → the furthest, little → the least.
ここでは the が必要です — そのものは同じ種類の中で1つしかないからです。これはA1の第14課で学んだ冠詞の規則そのものです。
最上級のあとの2つの前置詞：

one of the + 最上級 + 複数形： Osaka is one of the biggest cities in Japan. ここでは名詞は必ず複数形です — いくつかあるうちの1つについて言っているからです。
日本語話者の誤り
あなたの言語向けに作成最上級に the を付けない。
✗ Tokyo is biggest city、✗ most expensive hotel → ✓ the biggest city、the most expensive hotel。日本語には冠詞がないので、「いちばん大きい都市」を訳すと the が落ちやすくなります。「いちばん」は the と -est（または the most）の両方に当たる、と考えましょう。
「〜の中で」をいつも in にする。
✗ the youngest in my friends
✓ the youngest of my friends
。日本語では「世界でいちばん」も「友達の中でいちばん」も同じように言えますが、英語では場所なら in、my friends や all のような人や物の集まりなら of です。
one of のあとを単数形にする。
✗ one of the biggest city
✓ one of the biggest cities
。「いちばん大きい都市の1つ」の「都市」は形が変わりませんが、英語では「いくつかあるうちの1つ」なので名詞を複数形にします。
発音
3分強く言うのは形容詞で、the は弱く発音します：
It's the biggest city in the country. This is the best one.
most の前の the は /ðə/、母音の前では /ði/ です：the oldest /ði ˈəʊldɪst/ — A1の第14課の規則のおさらいです。カタカナの「ザ」のようにはっきり言わず、短く軽く添えます。
