una sílaba the + -est cheap → the cheapest, big → the biggest
dos sílabas terminadas en -y the + -iest happy → the happiest
largos the most + adjetivo the most expensive, the most interesting

Las mismas cuatro excepciones: good → the best, bad → the worst, far → the furthest, little → the least.

in — con un lugar the biggest city in the world
of — con un grupo the best of all, the youngest of my friends

one of the + superlativo + plural: Madrid is one of the biggest cities in Europe.

1

«El más» traducido por the more

✗ the more expensive hotel in the city

✓ the most expensive hotel in the city

2

most con los adjetivos cortos

✗ the most big

✓ the biggest

3

«De» con un lugar

✗ the biggest city of the world

✓ the biggest city in the world

Con un lugar va in; of es para los grupos: the youngest of my friends.

Pronunciación

3 min

It's the biggest city in the country. This is the best one.
