5 min

have / has + tercera forma del verbo.

I have finished my work. → I've finished. He terminado: el trabajo está hecho.
She has gone home. → She's gone. Se ha ido: no está aquí.
Have you eaten? ¿Has comido?
I haven't finished yet. Todavía no he terminado.
Yes, I have. / No, I haven't. Respuesta corta.

Con he, she, it va has; con todos los demás, have.

I finished the work at five. I have finished the work. (está hecho)
She went home an hour ago. She has gone home.

just — hace un momento I've just finished.
already — ya I've already eaten.
yet — ya (en la pregunta), todavía (en la negación); al final Have you finished yet? / Not yet.
still — todavía (con la negación) I still haven't finished.

just y already van entre have y la tercera forma.

1

El perfecto con la hora

✗ I have finished at five

✓ I finished at five

2

have con he y she

✗ Tom have gone home

✓ Tom has gone home

Es la misma -s de la lección A1 #9. Y cuidado con el parecido: el «has» español es de «tú»; el has inglés es de he, she, it, y con you va have.

3

3 min

's puede ser is o has: lo distingue solo lo que viene detrás:

She's working. = she is (delante de -ing)
She's gone. = she has (delante de la tercera forma)

have y has en la frase son átonos: /həv/, /həz/, y a menudo solo /əv/, /əz/. I've finished suena /aɪv ˈfɪnɪʃt/, de un tirón.
