数と量を言う
何かが多い、少ない、十分にあると言い、多すぎると不満を言うことができる。
表示されているコア時間。2つのコアブロックに時間表示がないため、実際のレッスンは合計より長くなります。
文法
5分much と many は、A1の第15課と同じ基準で使い分けます：数えられるかどうかです。

ただし肯定文ではふつう a lot of を使います： much は肯定文ではほとんど使わず、many もあまり使いません。

a lot of は数えられる名詞にも数えられない名詞にも使えます — いちばん安全な言い方です。
「少し」も2つの語があり、使い分けは同じです：

「〜すぎる」と「十分」：

enough は形容詞のあと、名詞の前に置きます： old enough、でも enough money。
日本語話者の誤り
あなたの言語向けに作成肯定文で much を使う。
✗ I have much work
✓ I have a lot of work
。日本語の「たくさん」はどの文でも同じですが、英語の much はふつう疑問文と否定文で使います：I don't have much work。
数えられない名詞に many や -s を付ける。
✗ many money、✗ many informations → ✓ a lot of money、a lot of information。A1の第15課で見たように、日本語の名詞には数えられる・数えられないの区別がありません。money や information は1つ、2つと数えないので、many も -s も付きません（疑問文と否定文では much information）。
a few、a little の a を落とす。
✗ I have few days of holiday
✓ I have a few days of holiday
。日本語には冠詞がないので a を省きがちですが、a のない few、 little は「ほとんどない」という意味になり、言いたいことと逆になります。
ほめるときに too を使う。
✗ This book is too interesting（「とても」の意味で）→ ✓ This book is very interesting。日本語では「面白すぎる」「おいしすぎる」をほめ言葉にも使いますが、英語の too は「〜すぎて困る」という意味です。A1の第18課のつまずきやすいポイントの続きです。
発音
3分会話の流れの中の of は /əv/、よくただの /ə/ になります： a lot of work は /əˈlɒtə wɜːk/、 a couple of days は /əˈkʌplə deɪz/ のように聞こえます。
enough /ɪˈnʌf/ — 強勢は2つ目の音節にあり、最後は /f/ の音です。ここでは gh を /f/ と読みます。 bought や thought の gh は読みません。
