be → was/were go → went have → had do → did say → said
get → got make → made come → came see → saw know → knew
take → took give → gave find → found think → thought tell → told
leave → left feel → felt put → put bring → brought buy → bought

First, … Primero
Then, … Luego
After that, … Después de eso
Finally, …

✗ I went then home

✓ Then I went home

3

said y told confundidos

say es decir algo; tell, decirle algo a alguien: He said that, He told me. ✗ He said me → ✓ He told me.

see /siː/ → saw /sɔː/ know /nəʊ/ → knew /njuː/
take /teɪk/ → took /tʊk/ give /ɡɪv/ → gave /ɡeɪv/
buy /baɪ/ → bought /bɔːt/ think /θɪŋk/ → thought /θɔːt/
