Treizeci de întrebări de gramatică a nivelului — câte una pentru fiecare lecție cu temă nouă —, o dictare, citirea cu voce tare a unui text lung, o scriere. Pragul pentru trecerea la B2 este 80% la gramatică (24 din 30). Dictarea se verifică pe cuvinte, dar nu intră în prag; citirea cu voce tare și scrierea nu se notează.

Dacă un răspuns nu coincide cu cel din răspunsuri, caută în secțiunea „Ce am acoperit la B1” lecția care se ocupă de tema respectivă și repet-o.

1–6. Completare: timpurile.

Citire cu voce tare

I grew up in a small fishing town on the north-east coast, where my grandfather had worked at the port all his life. By the time I was born, the port had closed, and most of the young people had left for the cities.

I've been living in Manchester for almost ten years now. I'm used to the noise and the traffic, and I've even got used to the rain — well, almost. When I was a student, I used to go back home every summer, and my grandmother would cook enormous meals and tell us stories about the old days.

Last spring I went back for the first time in years. The town was much quieter than I remembered, and many of the shops had been turned into holiday flats. Although it made me sad, I could see that the town was changing, not dying. A young couple, whose café had opened the year before, told me that more and more people were moving there to work from home.

If I had more time, I'd go back more often. The longer I stay away, the more I miss the sea. As soon as the children finish school this summer, we're going to spend a whole month there.

Ce am acoperit la B1

Timpurile și viitorul. Past Perfect și povestirea cu fundal (B1 #1, B1 #2), granița dintre Present Perfect și Past Simple (B1 #3), Present Perfect Continuous (B1 #4), cinci forme de viitor (B1 #5), Future Continuous — o acțiune în desfășurare într-un moment din viitor și întrebarea politicoasă despre planuri (B1 #7), prezentul despre viitor după conjuncțiile de timp (B1 #31).

Ireal și modalitate. Condiționalele de tipul al doilea și If I were you (B1 #8), wish și If only (B1 #9), presupunerea cu must, might, can't (B1 #10), be able to, manage to, be supposed to, be allowed to, don't need to (B1 #11).

Pasivul și vorbirea indirectă. Pasivul la toate timpurile (B1 #13), have something done și pasivul cu get — My bike got stolen (B1 #14), vorbirea indirectă cu concordanța timpurilor (B1 #15), verbele de relatare advise, offer, suggest și sfatul direct You'd better (B1 #16), întrebările indirecte (B1 #19).

Fraza și conversația. Relativele determinative și explicative, whose (B1 #17, B1 #18), întrebarea disjunctivă, cererea de repetare, So do I (B1 #20), verbele care își schimbă sensul: stop, remember, try (B1 #21), want somebody to, make și let (B1 #22), verbele frazale de patru tipuri (B1 #34).

Cuvinte și legături. Perechile both … and, either … or (B1 #6), hardly (B1 #12), articolele ca sistem și another, the other, others (B1 #23), no longer (B1 #24), cuvintele de cantitate most, none, a few (B1 #25), ordinea adjectivelor și -ed față de -ing (B1 #26), cuvânt + prepoziție: verb, substantiv, adjectiv (B1 #27), adverbele de grad și locul lor (B1 #28), formarea cuvintelor (B1 #29), so … that și such … that (B1 #30), every și each (B1 #31), scopul, cauza și concesia (B1 #32), used to, be used to, get used to (B1 #33), comparația întărită, de câte ori și the …, the … (B1 #35).

Unde repeți dacă ai greșit: întrebările 1–6 — B1 #1–5 și B1 #7; 7 — B1 #31; 8–11 — B1 #8–11; 12 — B1 #20; 13 — B1 #26 și B1 #30; 14 — B1 #35; 15–16 — B1 #13–14; 17–18 — B1 #15–16; 19 — B1 #19; 20 — B1 #17–18; 21 — B1 #21; 22 — B1 #32; 23 — B1 #22; 24 — B1 #33; 25 — B1 #34; 26 — B1 #23; 27 — B1 #25; 28 — B1 #27; 29 — B1 #28; 30 — B1 #29.

Urmează B2 #1: să spun o poveste lungă, unde la cele trei timpuri trecute se adaugă Past Perfect Continuous. Mai departe la B2 — viitorul în trecut (B2 #2), Future Perfect (B2 #3), condiționalele de tipul al treilea (B2 #4) și inversiunea (B2 #7).

Scriere

Un text de 12–15 propoziții despre locul în care ai crescut. Povestește cum era (cu un fundal în Past Perfect), ce făceai acolo pe vremuri (used to, would), ce s-a schimbat și cu cât (much, far, more and more), cu ce te-ai obișnuit acolo unde locuiești acum și ce vei face când te vei întoarce acolo (prezentul după when și as soon as). Cel puțin o propoziție cu although sau despite și una cu o relativă explicativă.
