Forma — priminimas:

Present Perfect Past Simple
teiginys I've lost my keys. I lost my keys.
neiginys She hasn't called. She didn't call.
klausimas Have you seen it? Did you see it?

Kada renkamasi Present Perfect.

Rezultatas matyti dabar: I've lost my keys — raktų nėra, negaliu įeiti. Palyginkite: I lost my keys last week, but I found them — epizodas baigtas, ir rezultato nėra.

Naujiena.

Have you heard? They've closed the bridge. ← naujiena

Really? When did they close it? ← smulkmenos

On Monday. They found a crack in it.

Laikotarpis dar nesibaigė: I've had three coffees today. Jei laikotarpis baigėsi, reikia Past Simple: I had three coffees yesterday. I've drunk two coffees this morning, vakare — I drank two coffees this morning.

Patirtis žmogaus, kuris gyvas, arba darbas, kuris dar gali tęstis: She has written four novels.

just, already, yet, ever, so far, lately, since Monday yesterday, ago, last week, in May, when I was a child, the other day

never, recently, today, this week pasitaiko su abiem laikais, ir sprendžia tas pats: ar laikotarpis baigtas. I've never been to Wales — gyvenimas tęsiasi; I never saw him again — istorija papasakota iki galo.

Britų ir amerikiečių variantai. Amerikietiškoje anglų kalboje su just, already, yet dažnai vartojamas Past Simple: Did you eat yet?, I just saw him. Tai ne klaida, bet britų variante, kurio mokomės, sakoma Have you eaten yet? ir I've just seen him.

Palyginkite:

I've lost my keys. Problema dabar: raktų nėra.
I lost my keys. Istorija: kažkada pamečiau, dabar papasakosiu, kaip buvo.

Kaip suprasti pašnekovo pasirinkimą. Veiksmažodžio laikas pasako, ko žmogus iš jūsų laukia. Pasakė I've lost my keys — praneša apie problemą ir greičiausiai laukia pagalbos ar užuojautos. Pasakė I lost my keys — pradeda istoriją, ir toliau bus smulkmenų. Klausimas Have you seen Tom? reiškia „man jo reikia dabar“, o Did you see Tom? — apie konkretų atvejį, pavyzdžiui, apie vakarykštį vakarėlį.

Taip nesakoma. ✗ I've been in London last year → ✓ I was in London last year. last year uždaro laikotarpį, ir Perfect su juo negalimas, net jei kelionė — jūsų patirtis. Patirčiai be laiko — I've been to London (A2 #4).

Pasitikrinkite. Ieškote akinių ir sakote draugui — I lost my glasses ar I've lost my glasses? Kodėl klausime When did you buy it? negali būti Perfect? Vakaras, pasakojate apie šį rytą: I've had ar I had two coffees this morning?

rodyti atsakymus
I've lost my glasses — rezultatas dabar, akinių nėra (I lost taip skamba amerikietiškame variante); when klausia apie laiką, o laikui reikia Past Simple; I had — rytas jau baigėsi.

Lietuvių kalbos gimtakalbių klaidos

parašyta jūsų kalbai
1

When su Perfect

✗ When have they closed the bridge?

✓ When did they close the bridge?

Naujiena buvo pasakyta Perfect forma (They've closed the bridge), ir klausime ją norisi pakartoti.

2

Perfect su ago

✗ I've moved here two years ago

✓ I moved here two years ago

3

Past Simple su since

✗ I didn't see him since Monday

✓ I haven't seen him since Monday

Lietuviškai „nemačiau jo nuo pirmadienio“ — būtasis laikas. Bet since skaičiuoja laikotarpį iki šios dienos, o nebaigtas laikotarpis — Perfect reikalas.

4

Naujiena Past Simple

I lost my wallet! Bet britas, kuris piniginės neturi dabar, greičiau pasakys ✓ I've lost my wallet! Lietuviškas „pamečiau“ neskiria epizodo nuo rezultato, todėl rinktis tenka sąmoningai.

Tarimas

3 min

Visas skirtumas kalboje — trumpas nekirčiuotas garsas: /v/ žodyje I've, /z/ arba /s/ žodžiuose she's, it's.

I've lost it. /aɪv ˈlɒst ɪt/
I lost it. /aɪ ˈlɒst ɪt/

's — tai has ar is? Žiūrėkite į kitą žodį. She's broken her arm — po 's trečioji forma, vadinasi, has. She's tired — būdvardis, vadinasi, is. What's happened? /wɒts ˈhæpənd/ — has.

You look worried. What's happened?

I've lost my wallet. I've looked everywhere — in my bag, in my coat, in the car — and I can't find it.

Oh no. When did you last have it?

This morning. I paid for a coffee at the station at about half past eight. Then I went to the library and spent two hours there.

Did you take it out in the library?

I don't think so. I bought a sandwich on the way back, but I paid with my phone.

Have you called the library?

Not yet. I've only just got back.

Well, call them now. And have you cancelled your bank card?

Yes, I've already done that. I did it on the bus.

Good. Has anyone tried to use it?

No, nothing has happened so far. I checked the app ten minutes ago.

Then don't panic. Someone has probably found it already.
